Dear VGT Friends:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for your continued support of the Vancouver Golf Tour.  You are an integral part of our community, whether it is as a player, caddie, fan, family member or sponsor.

THANK-YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOYALTY the past 6 years!

We are happy to announce that for the 7th consecutive year, MARKETPLACE IGA, CLEVELAND GOLF/SRIXON CANADA, PAINE EDMONDS LAWYERS, JOHNSTON MEIER INSURANCE and many of our MAJOR SPONSORS are continuing to partner with VGT to ensure our players receive a first class tournament experience at our events.  We can’t thank them enough for their continued support of our mission to elevate the game of golf right here in Vancouver!

We have seen an amazing amount of development in the players coming through our tour the past 6 years.  And we are extremely proud of their accomplishments, be it graduating from Amateur to Pro on the VGT to making their first top 10’s on the PGA TOUR Canada, or a graduation from Flight B to Championship Flight.  It really is amazing to see how much can be learned when the stage is set!

We are especially proud to announce that two of VGT’s Alumni (Adam Hadwin and Roger Sloan) advanced to the final stage of PGA Tour Qualifying school last fall, and will be fully carded members on the 2013 WEB.COM.  And just over a week ago a 3rd of our VGT Members, Phil Jonas of Hazelmere Golf Club, advanced his status in Professional golf by qualifying for full status on the European Senior Tour!  Congratulations Dr. Phil!

Add to the list 15 VGT Professionals who are fully carded PGA TOUR Canada Members in 2013 and the future looks very strong for our current players and alumni!

All-in-all, 2013 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for VGT.  Thanks to Marketplace IGA and a number of our valued partners we are proud to launch our 2013 Spring/Summer Membership Program (click here) and Tournament schedule (click here) which includes a brand new series of 54-hole events titled THE VGT MAJORS!!

MEMBER REFERRALS – EARN VGT REWARDS!

We are excited to continue our popular MEMBER REFERRAL PROGRAM for our existing members to bring New Members to join VGT in 2013.   Here are the incentives we have continued to offer to give you incentives to bring in your golfing friends to join VGT this year!

  • Sign-up a NEW Preferred Member* for 2013 and receive a $25 credit for any 2013 VGT Event**
  • Sign-up a 2nd NEW Preferred Member and receive an additional $50 credit for a 2013 VGT Event** 
  • Sign-up a 3rd NEW Preferred member and receive an additional $50 credit for a 2013 VGT Event**

*A New Preferred Member is an Amateur or Professional who was NOT a Preferred Member in 2012 and who joins 2013 VGT Preferred Membership at regular price (does not include VGT Majors Membership).
** A 2013 VGT Event is any tournament that VGT takes entry fee payment for directly.  (Does not include Chilliwack Open, Golden Ears, Ledgeview Open, etc)

I am very excited about some of the new partnerships we are in the midst of negotiating developing in 2013 to make VGT bigger and better in 2013 for all our members!  We will be making some exciting releases in the coming weeks letting everyone in on who’s joining our team!!
