JM MEDIA GROUP Growing the Game of Golf with multiple VGT Event Sponsorship
Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT) is proud to announce JM MEDIA GROUP (http://jmmedia.ca) as it’s latest Major Partner Sponsor to sign-on and assist VGT with it’s goals of providing Professional tournament opportunities for local Amateur and Professional golfers within BC.
JM Media’s sponsorship of the VGT will have a direct impact on VGT’s first MAJOR, the JM MEDIA GROUP VGT MASTERS. Thanks to their contributions, the event will be guaranteeing $20,000 in Pro Purse, Amateur Prizing and Tee-gifts for a full field of 100 players.

JM Media has agreed to expand their sponsorship into a Presenting Role at 3 more events on the VGT, guaranteeing all players will receive a significant welcome gift at these events. “This is a big announcement for us” continued Mulholland. “There is no question we see a surge in registration when we have sponsored events. It is great to have partners like JM Media Group helping us grow the game in BC and elevating our events for our players. It’s nice to guarantee all players are going to walk away with something before they tee-off, whether they make it to the prize table or not.
The JM MEDIA GROUP VGT MASTERS launches as the first of 7 MAJORS and the first of 6 MAUI JIM Women’s Series events this season. The final event of both those series’ concluding at the Johnston Meier Insurance Vancouver Open on Aug.30-Sept.2nd at Vancouver’s City Courses. Both the Majors Series and the Maui Jim Women’s Series will have a dedicated point standings that will offer a total of $5,000 in season-ending cash & prizing between the two Series’.

The Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT) was developed in 2006 for BC’s local Professionals and Amateurs (Handicap of 0-18) – giving them the opportunity for a high level of competition in a PGA Tour environment without the heavy expenses of travel.
