Littered his card with 9 birdies on the day, Canadian Tour Pro Matt Daniel charged his way into the first official day of summer with his first victory on the 2010 VGT schedule. Daniel’s course record round of 65 topped the field of 81 players including 35 Professionals in the field and took home $1,050 for the day. Daniel’s two shot victory over fellow Canadian Tour Professional Oliver Tubb earned him 1,500 points on the season long CLEVELAND/SRIXON Order of Merit, shooting him up to 6th place overall. Seymour Creek’s Bryn Parry shared 3rd place honours with Shaughnessy Professional Lindsay Bernakevitch, good for 850 pts, building on his lead on the CLEVELAND/SRIXON Order of Merit over Canadian Tour Professional Stuart Anderson.

He is passionate about the game and has a strong desire to develop the young talent in this province. A PGA member of Canada since 1992, Fraser has accumulated over 20 years of experience in golf instruction, tournament play and golf course & tournament operations. In this same time, Fraser has become one of the most accomplished professional golfers in BC and in Canada, winning 34 professional tournaments, qualifying for the South African and Australian Opens and twice playing on the PGA Tour.
Through his golf tournament travel experiences, Fraser has implemented similar tournament models for VGT that have made the top international golf bodies so successful.
