TSN Radio Vancouver BC Discount Golf Card Supporting VGT Golfers!

The Vancouver Golf Tour is excited to announce a partnership with the TSN RADIO VANCOUVER BC DISCOUNT GOLF CARD in 2016!

Through this initiative, a portion of all TSN RADIO VANCOUVER BC DISCOUNT GOLF CARD sales sold thru the VGT Website will go to establish a Player Development Fund to assist VGT players with tournament entry fees and travel costs.

“I am not sure how much funding we will generate the first year of this initiative” stated VGT Commissioner Fraser Mulholland. “But it’s exciting to imagine the possibilities if we can get some traction. It really would be outstanding to get a sizeable fund started in our first year and see where it goes in the future. Whatever amount we raise, we are greatly appreciative of the opportunity that TSN RADIO VANCOUVER BC DISCOUNT GOLF CARD owner Bill Wilms has offered for the VGT to assist our players with their tournament expenses in 2016 and beyond!”

“Bill and I have a long history in the game of golf, from being coached by him as a UBC Varsity Golfer to then playing on Bill’s local Professional Circuit back in the mid 90’s and lately re-acquainting for the past 2 years as co-hosts of the TSN 1040 Sunday Golf Show” continued Mulholland. “We will be making a big push through our VGT social media channels to get the message out that the TSN 1040/1410 Discount Golf Card is not only incredible value for the BC golf consumer, but is playing a significant role in assisting BC Golfers with their tournament goals”.

ABOUT THE VGT BURSARY FUND

VGT will initiate a minimum of one Bursary that will be awarded at the end of the 2016 VGT season at the Tour Championship on September 29th. If card sales surpass our goals, then multiple bursaries will be established. The criteria for this bursary will be established at a later point this spring. Once the criteria are set, instructions on how to apply for this fund will be made available on this section of the VGT website.
