Huge congrats to VGT Pro Brad Clapp on his first Mackenzie Tour PGA TOUR CANADA WIN at the Greater Waterway Classic!!
Clapper closed the event out in style with an eagle 3 on the final hole making it 23-under par for the event and good for a 4 shot victory over a pack of 6 players at -19.
VGT is very proud seeing their 2015 Vancouver Open Champion take the confidence from this title to his maiden win on the Mackenzie Tour just a few weeks later!
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy who is always one of the first players to voice his appreciation of the VGT Team (many of them volunteers) and the tournament experiences that are provided to him and fellow VGT players.
Clapper, you’ve got a bunch of fans out West here and by the looks of all the tweets of encouragement from the players on tour, u have a lot of people backing you out on tour too!
Great win and a very solid move up the Mackenzie Tour Order of Merit into 7th spot, closing in on his goal of earning one of ‘The 5’ spots to graduate onto the WEB.COM TOUR.
Nice to see so many CDN flags up on the leaderboard this week, including VGT’s own Cory Renfrew of Cordova Bay (T8) & Seann Harlingten of Capilano Golf & CC (T11) who also make positive moves up the Order of Merit this week!
