Professional Chad McAdie Sandpiper Golf Resort favoured its own last Monday (April 5th) as Professional Chad McAdie claimed the 2010 VGT Sandpiper Classic title with an impressive round of 67 (-5). By the end of the afternoon the sun fought through the early rain and shone brightly on McAdie in a sudden-death playoff as Professionals Jeremy Paradis of Langley and Seann Harlingten of Capilano G&CC also shot 67 at the end of their rounds. McAdie posted 6 birdies on his card and earned a cheque for $1,200 and 1,500 points. This quickly vaulted him to third place on the 2010 Cleveland/Srixon Order of Merit – a race to win a $5,000 U.S. entry to 2010 PGA Tour School. After two events Professional Bryn Parry leads the charge with 1,650 points, closely followed by Paradis with 1550 points himself.
