Day two at the Inaugural VAN ISLE CUP (a Ryder Cup style event) saw VGT’s top 12 Pros take on the Vancouver Island’s Pro Tour (VIPT) in singles matches. After Day one, VGT held a sizeable lead of 5 points to 1 and so needed 4 ½ points out of the total 12 points on the day to claim the first-ever Van Isle Cup trophy. Although the matches were evenly balanced on day two (VGT – 7 pts vs. VIPT – 5 pts), the lead VGT had built in day one was just too large to overcome. Officially in the books, VGT secured a 12 point to 6 point victory over the VIPT to take home the 2010 VAN ISLE CUP trophy!
