The 54-Hole Stroke Play Championship
event starts on Thursday, September 9th
at Fraserview and Langara Golf Courses
and ends Saturday, September 11th at
McCleery Golf Course. All Championship
golfers will play one round at
Fraserview and one round at Langara. The
top 60% and ties in each Amateur Flight
(Gross scores in Championship; Net
scores in Flight A and B) and Pro
Division will make the 36-hole cut to
play the final round.

amateurs with RCGA Factors 0-18.

Enjoy peace and tranquility in the heart
of the city in Langara’s
traditional-style course located on the
south slope of Vancouver. Built in 1926
by the CP Railway, the course was
redesigned by Canadian Architect Thomas
McBroom. The contoured, tree-lined
fairways are easy to walk and make this
challenging par 71 course appealing to
players of all levels.
Langara will play
host to the 1st and 2nd round of the
54-Hole Vancouver Open Championship.

McCleery, with its many water
hazards, gently sloping fairways and
large greens is nestled on the north
banks of the Fraser River in southwest
Vancouver. Featuring well sculptured and
meticulously maintained fairways and
greens, this par 71, 6,265 yard course
offers a target-style golf challenge.

Parry claimed the ’09 title, shooting
-12 and winning $5,000 cash plus a
$5,000 paid entry to PGA Tour Qualifying
School.
